Description
At ninety-three feet, Yaquina Head is the tallest tower on the Oregon coast, here the stormy weather reminds me of a story when they were building the light. A worker was blown off the tower by bad storms, but he was barely hurt due to his oil slick acting as a sail landing him softly on the ground. There are other stories of another worker falling in between the two brick walls " double walls built for insulation and dampness protection " of the tower never to be retrieved, hence the ghost of Yaquina light adds another eerie story.
